Position Summary:
This position requires operating a Straight Truck to deliver lubricant products, both bulk and various package styles to Company-owned sites and consumer customers. You will be responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of his or her vehicle, within Wilcox and Flegel Company policy. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager. Responsible to role model our Core Values.
Essential Position Functions and Responsibilities:
Loads and unloads tanker/totes with lubricant products, both bulk and various package styles adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
Operates box truck and stake bed trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws. Transports load over required route to proper destination, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.
Maintains vehicle cleanliness and replaces gaskets, keep nozzles and other related articles as necessary.
Performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities as required by Company policy.
Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking, on a daily basis, oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items.
Responsible daily for tipping/emptying the barrels from the assigned truck.
Communicates with warehouse to inform of full barrels on the pallet to restock.
Reports any equipment malfunctions/concerns to Warehouse Manager and/or Fleet Manager.
Knowledge of and the ability to use auxiliary pumps for loading and unloading of vehicle and use spill kits and fire extinguisher.
Performs specific tasks as assigned by Warehouse Manager
Always give all customers prompt and courteous service and use tact and diplomacy in dealing with Wilcox & Flegel Team Members and guests
Promotes and support Company image standards.
Adheres to all city, county, and state regulations.
Follows the work schedule as posted, unless a change in schedule is arranged with Warehouse Manager
Pitches in to help where needed
Must be able to climb in and out of truck, operate gear shift and brake & gas petals
Stays familiar with the Company Policies and Procedures.
Ensures Warehouse Manager is made aware of any operating discrepancies.
Properly posts and verifies all hours worked daily.
Works in a safe manner at all times and report all accidents immediately
Job requirements

This position has been designated as a Safety Sensitive Position. This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing, as well as random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident drug and alcohol testing. The results of this testing will be a condition of employment.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Current MVR detailing driving record within Company standards
Must have a clean DMV record with no more than two moving violations within the last five years
Class A driving history of no less than two (2) recent years is required to obtain and maintain this position
Preferred Education and Experience:
· Recent Graduates of IITR will also be considered.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations (note if Required or Preferred):
Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s license.
Hazmat Endorsement required
Must have a minimum of 1 year of Commercial driving experience, Class B license
Must possess a current Department of Transportation medical certification
Must meet or exceed and maintain acceptable company MVR criteria.
