Position Summary:

This is a temporary position that plays a critical role in the testing and rollout of our new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This position will primarily be responsible for testing documented process with end users to support SOP creation for the transition from our existing system to the new system. The ERP Support Specialist will also contribute to this project by supporting the data migration from existing systems to the new ERP platform. Responsible to consistently role model our Core Values.

The duration of this position is expected to be 6-9 months

Essential Position Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the ERP implementation team to assist in the documentation and testing of standard operating procedures across departments and functions.
  • Works closely with end users and subject matter experts to test documented SOP’s, gathers feedback and provides to the ERP implementation team for further refinement.
  • Supports the migration of data from legacy systems to the new ERP platform.
  • Verify data accuracy and completeness, resolving any issues that may arise during the migration process.
  • Assists in developing training materials for end user on the new ERP system.
  • Communicate effectively with project team members, stakeholders, and end-users to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure a cohesive implementation process.

Job requirements

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field and 2 years of proven experience in supporting ERP system implementations or similar projects, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong technical skills, including system configuration, data migration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with data validation, cleansing, and importing during data migration.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field and 4 years of proven experience in supporting ERP system implementations or similar projects or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Equipment and Software Requirements:

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proficiency using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
