Our Woodland Chevron Flyways location is looking to add a Full Time Lead Cashier to our team. Position Summary:
This position works in close partnership with the Convenience Store Manager and Store Team to promote safety, communication, development and excellence in customer service by providing day-to-day leadership in the managers absence and/or as directed by manager. Also works with manager and team in reviewing processes, seeking input, and working to improve our processes. This position is responsible for consistently role modeling our Core Values.

Essential Position Functions and Responsibilities:
Performs many of the duties of the Store Team, plus acts as day to day lead for the Store team at their location and as directed by your Store Manager.
Site Safety Point Person to help assure safe practices by team and follow-up on any safety concerns in partnership with manager and/or in managers absence.
Helps conduct shift meetings and safety meetings. Maintains records of meetings, topic(s) covered and all attendees.
Leads day to day problem solving with team, as directed by manager such as customer service question or concern resolution.
Provides day to day coaching and development guidance to team in the spirit of being better together.
Lead trainer for store team. May participate in development or revision of team training as needed. Ensures consistent training following established training protocols and requirements.
Lead in market for consistent adaptation of Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) in partnership with manager.
Participates in weekly (monthly?) Level 10 (L10) Leadership meetings. Provides input to Manager(s) and other Leads about issues, opportunities, challenges and wins.
Master user of the Tablet. Facilitates and coaches effective adaptation and use of various software, including Paycom, Test Team Trainer, etc.
Compiles reports and provides input as requested or assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
6 months convenience store experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
3+ years successful performance as a store clerk, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous retail operations experience strongly preferred.
Previous experience with compiling data and producing accurate, informative reports for management and executive leadership.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations (note if Required or Preferred):
Have or be able to obtain a food handlers card at start of position
Attend Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training
Attend and pass any other required training
Equipment and Software Requirements:
The convenience store cashier should have the ability to operate the computer system and other necessary IT gadgets
